Additive Masterbatch
Masterbatches added in the production stage of the finished product and gained different features according to the usage of the product.

Additive Masterbatch Types
-
Antiblock masterbatch: It is added to minimize adhesion force between polyolefin and other plastic film layers and prevents sticking and blocking by creating micro rough surfaces between film layers.
-
Antimicrobial masterbatch: It is used to prevent the growth of microorganisms on polymer surfaces.
-
Antioxidant masterbatch: It inhibits or retards polymer oxidation, degradation effects such as discolorations, change in viscosity, loss of physical properties and surface cracking.
-
Antislip masterbatch: It prevents surface slipperiness by increasing the friction coefficient and resistance of plastic sheet and film surfaces.
-
Antistatic masterbatch: It prevents a build-up of static electricity on polymer surfaces that can not only attract dust and dirt, but can also cause sheet or film to cling.
-
Antifog masterbatch: It prevents condensation of water vapor on the surface of the plastic film.
-
Flame retardant masterbatch: It makes plastic difficult to ignite and prevents the progression of the flame.
-
Laser marking masterbatch: It provides a clearer and darker result when laser marking is applied on the plastic surface.
-
Optical brightness masterbatch: It is used to enhance whiteness and brightness of the plastic.
-
Oxo-biodegradable masterbatch: It causes the molecular structure of plastic to break down faster when exposed to heat or sunlight and allows it to degrade quickly in nature.
-
Process aid masterbatch: During the processing of polymers, it reduces resistance between the polymer melt and the surface of the machinery. By eliminating the surface defects and reducing the friction, it saves energy consumption.
-
Slip masterbatch: Polyolefin films tend to adhere to themselves (film to film) and metal surfaces (film to metal) due to their high coefficient of friction. Slip masterbatch can modify the surface properties of the films and thus lower the friction between film layers and other surfaces.
-
UV absorber/stabilizer masterbatch: It is used to prevent the degradation of the structure and appearance caused by UV rays on the plastic.
-
Desiccant/moisture absorber masterbatch: It absorbs the moisture strongly in the plastic and eliminates the bubbles, cracks and speckles caused by moisture.
-
Fragrance masterbatch: It is used to obtain plastic in desired aromatic scents.
